HTC Dream(aka T-Mobile G1, Android Dev Phone 1)のファームを最新化してみる

Android Dream fastboot

Android Dev Phone 1用の公式のファーム1.1があるらしいので入れてみる。

もらってくる

ここから http://andblogs.net/2009/01/new-adp1-images-leaked/

  • adp1-11-official.zip

をもらってくる。
中には

  • boot.img
  • misc.img
  • splash1.img
  • splash2.img
  • system.img

が入っている。
misc.imgは気にしないことにする。

fastbootモード

まずはfastbootモードになる。

  • 終話ボタン(赤ボタン)を長押ししてシャットダウンする。
  • バックボタン(左矢印ボタン)を押しながら終話ボタン(赤ボタン)を押してFASTBOOTモードで起動。

書き込む

fastbootで書き込む (自己責任)
あなたのHTC Dreamがレンガになったりしても、私は何も補償できませんのであしからず。

fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash splash1 splash1.img
fastboot flash splash2 splash2.img
fastboot flash system system.img
fastboot reboot

確かにファームウェアバージョンが1.1になった。

違いは

changelogの内容を転記。

  1. Smoother, More Stable & Faster Response IN OS
  2. Apps restart automaticly after crashing
  3. The ability to skip signing-in to your google account
  4. An "Import Sim Contacts" option has been added to the contact menu.
  5. There is a "Local & Text" tab in "SETTINGS" now. It has only "English" but other langauges probobly be added later.
  6. You now have an option to get the numeric dialpad with out having to slide up the tab when making a call.
  7. System Updater in "Settings"
  8. GMail app: Now you have the ability to just sync labeled mails newer than X days.

  1. 悪くはなってないけど違いは良く分からない。
  2. クラッシュしたことがないので分かんない。
  3. 喜ぶ人がいるかも。
  4. もともとあったような記憶が。
  5. 確かに増えてるが別に役に立たない。
  6. 何のことか分からない。
  7. 今後のアップデートが楽になるかも。
  8. 確かに機能が増えてる。
